CPS1 A-Board only boots to weird white pattern

I have a Pang3 which boots to this weird pattern, which is moving a bit.

Swapping the A-board with a known working one makes the game work, so B and C boards are fine.

Any idea where to start investigating this?

Aw man I have a bunch of A boards with issues that I would like to investigate.. but they are a pain to troubleshoot when the B board is on top .

That's what Arcaniac's kit is for - it lets you mount the A board above the other boards so you can diagnose it.

Yeah but it’s out of stock.. and feels a bit pricey for me . It’s around 180€ with customs and all to Sweden..

Yeah I mean this would make sense i wanted to work on more a-boards but i'd rather just throw this in the trash at this point tbh...
... or keept it as spare parts i guess
