FS CPS1 conversion Forgotten Worlds with Joystick hack to be played with a normal stick

For Sale
Hi there - is the FW PCB still for sale? I'm looking at potentially starting a replica cabinet build. Could you tell me if the PCB would connect to these spinners (link below) and if it would be difficult to connect - https://www.trfightstick.com/store/kraken-arcade
Hi there, it´s still for sale and has all connectors. You need to reburn the EEPROM though because it is now the hacked version to play without spinners.

Geting the EEPROMS should be 20 Dollars and you just need to take them off and replace them. Easily done without any soldering or so in 5 minutes.

Thanks for your answer, Im still learning my way around arcade machines. So that particular spinner that i sent should fit if that alteration was made to your PCB? Also, to complete the build (with the components) - I would also need a power supply, monitor and joysticks - is there anything else I am missing, and would this be difficult to set up? Thanks, and sorry for the rookie questions - doing my research quite extensively and trying to learn as much as i can.

No problem. You need compatible spinners for the PCB. I am not fond of spinners and compatibility, but you should find all information and help here in the forum.

I can manage the EEPROM change if you pay for the costs, if it is too complicated for you.

About the Arcade cabinet itself, as you said. You need a Jamma connector as well. You should find all info in the web, many people are sharing their experiences and work.

Tell me if you want the PCB please.

Thank you for your help. I am definitely interested - I'll just do a bit more research on the compatibility as I have to be certain that the parts all work together. I will be in touch.

Not hijacking or cock blocking your sale, just sharing info.

FWIW, the only way I know to get OG/repro spinners to work is either with an original Forgotten Worlds PCB or a Darksoft or aje_fr multi.

The B-Board for Forgotten Worlds is unique and features special components and the connector for spinners. There's no C-Board that features this connector.

The aje_fr CPS-1 Multi has the components and connector as standard.

The Darksoft CPS-1 Multi has an optional board to connect that allows a connector for spinners.

Hope this helps.

Thanks mate. This absolutely helps. I'm still learning my way around an arcade machine so definitely want to know that what I buy will work as it is a lot of money and a time consuming project. Do you mind if I DM you for some very basic questions?
