WTB CPS2 A and B board for DarkSoft Multi (FOUND)

I got a DarkSoft version 2 multi coming in the mail and was wondering if anyone has a CPS2 A+B board they are willing to sell? Preferably one that doesn't have the battery installed since it needs to be dead. Either way if you have one for sale let me know and pending of price of course.

Buy a working one with the battery, or one someone has resurrected (infinikey, etc) already. Whatever you do buy a working one.

There are no suicided boards anymore, that info is very old. there are cheap and easy ways to resurrect them now. If you buy one that is dead, now, it’s dead because of something else, and you will likely have a frustrating time solving it.

Ok thanks. I am just getting into the cps2 thing after having played those games in mame. So I just wanted to real hardware now.

You’ll love the kit! Just disregard all the info out there about “killing” B boards. It’s not true anymore. The multi is effectively 100% reversible now. As such if any seller is trying to pass off a dead board as “suicided” they’re very likely lying.

I just got it delivered and it says version 2 on the box. I am unsure if this is the champion edition or the edition before that you can help me out with identifying that? So this works on any cps2 as long as the regions are matched correctly? I want to find a cps2 complete without breaking the bank. I did miss on sale on ebay where this guy have A+B of marvel super heroes for $200 so I don't know how hard it would be to find one in the range again?

I don't really keep tabs on cps2 prices but 200-250 seems fine for the more common titles like MSH.
