Hi! :)

I bought a Japanese Street Fighter Zero 2 B-Board in very good condition. ^^

I replaced all the Street Zero 2 EPROMs and MaskROMs with the ROM Set (I was just missing the 8 27C4096" EPROMs
and Original MaskROMs from Vampire Savior Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire.

I successfully programmed the Japanese ROM sets on the 10 EPROMs, configured the correct ON/OFF jumpers, and installed the correct CPS2 Suicide Free Modchip and the correct assembly that goes with the board revision 93646B-3.

I have a sound problem, such as Mixed Music and Voices of Creatures. ?(

I thought it was a timing issue with the EPROMs at 105 and 150 ms, so I reprogrammed them with HITACHI HN27C4096HG-85s to be sure, but the problem is still there X/

.Thanks for your help

Hi! GoldenGlover :)

I programmed a PAL-G on GAL16V8B10LP , I even tried with an infinity key same problem

I Have a board revision 93646B-3 so this is Revision 3 and I have no green wires underneath

The only suggestion I can make (aside from reburnung your program roms & verifying that they’re valid) is to make sure the traces are cut between the open jumpers. Even if they look separated, they can sometimes still be connected in the middle by a very thin trace. Hopefully that fixes your issue.

Hi! :)

I've taken matters into my own hands and will start again step by step.

First, I restored Street Fighter Zero 2.

Everything is fine, no sound issues.

I suspect Maskroms 11 and 12 are the culprit.

I have two identical semi-complete Vampire Savior sets. Both sets were missing EPROMs 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.

I'll find a real download site with real, unmodified ROMs for emulators, or if someone could offer me their dumper set via Mega nz in a PM, that would be great.;)

Then, I'll program everything on two 27C010s, two 27C160s, eight 27C4096s, and the rest of the GFX on 27C322s.

And I'll run the tests by reconfiguring the jumpers. If it works the first time, it means that one or more Maskroms are defective on the original Set

F PAL and G PAL both require a jumper on rev 3/4 but to different pins

Did you replace the EPROM/s at 1 and 2?

What size and type of EPROMs are you using for 1/2 and for 11/12?

Vous pouvez retirer ce fil si vous utilisez un G PAL. Essayez-le et voyez si cela résout vos problèmes de son.
I have not yet put the son, these are images of another forum that you see

Color me confused. Is it only required on F pal?
"
ROM 1 and 2 - QSound Program : AMD 27C010-120DC "maybe the speed is not fast enough, maybe switch to 100DC ?"

ROM 3 to 10 - Main Program ; Hitachi HN27C4096HG-85

ROM 11 and 12 - Sound Samples : STMicroelectronics M27C160-100F1

ROM 13 to 20 - Mask ROMs : STMicroelectronics M27C322-100F1

Hi! :)
Someone kindly put the compiled files for 11 and 12 in the same bin file for me.

I ran the test and inserted it into socket 11.

The problem is still there.X/

Do the jumpers need to be changed ?

Thanks.

Check connectivity on the jumpers to make sure you don’t have a connection where there should be an open line

You said the board was in good condition, but was the board tested/known working prior to the conversion?

Hi! :)

Yes, the B-Board and a Street Fighter Zero 2 Rombook Rev.3.

I used the B-Board before conversion, everything is fine, and after the problem of the vampire vampire vampire, I put everything the original configuration of the rider and the Maskrom, Eprom de Zero 2 he worked as at the origin.

I did a test where I have no chip installer on the socket 11 and 12, there is no sound and no bug, it's empty.

So I conclude that as soon as 1 or 2 chips are installed on these sockets there is a sound problem.

Or there are one or more errors on the shemas of the Jumpers openings and closings and we go around in circles

Could someone make beautiful photo and check on that B-Board Original ?

THANKS
