Received mine back last week and have been putting it through its paces, no more crackle! Mitts did an excellent job on the fix and had it back to me quick. Thanks again for offering to do the fixes for the community!

He also fixed two broken pins that I'd been using jumper wires for and installed the support PCB. I've gotta say, it was way easier reinstalling the board with the support PCB in place.

Nope. You need to update using SWD port and for that you need a device that allows your PC to have a SWD port, like this one:

Yep, that has a SWD port, you should be ok with that one.

Check the tutorial about updating the BIOS please. Process is simple, but requires about 20-30 minutes undistrubed.

cheers, just done the sound crackle fix fine, using the solder pads with kynar wire to relevant points on board, worked a treat, not too bad to do either.
