My darksoft modded cps2 just started having issues last night. I've been running it without issue for years... Until last night.

I tried to reseat the boards, but no change.

Any ideas what to try next?

Thanks in advance!

Do you have another b board to try with your A board? (And vice versa).

I wish I did... I've been asking around my local (east bay area) circles to see if someone would lend me a set to help narrow down my problems, but as of yet, no luck... 😔

I had something similar happen and i tried swapping boards. I ended up putting the original boards back together and it worked.

originally i only reseat the boards for audio issues, but then i got graphic issues like you.

i kinda just had to press firm and really sandwhich them together a few times after reseating. took like 6 -10 tries for me to get it back to working

Like I said above, I determined the issue was in the multi and moved the thread to the appropriate place (https://www.arcade-projects.com/thr...o-fixing-your-cps2-multi-kit.7442/post-387478) . I fixed it by replacing the faulty buffer.
