Have you guys ever seen a case where the CRT neck socket doesn't sit fully flush against the plastic on the neck and the pins are exposed a couple of millimeters?
Just checking to see if this is something others have experienced and if it is cause for concern or should work fine.
For context I'm trying to fit a modded Tosh PF chassis to a dual focus Samsung tube that came with an Atomiswave SD cabinet.
I've wiggled the socket and pushed it up as much as possible, as well as pulled the neck card off, cleaned the socket holes with a needle and re-seated.
Also, I checked the solder points at the base of the socket with a multimeter against the small bit of exposed pins on the neck and verified connectivity.
Any thoughts are appreciated!
