Hi Team;
My dream of playing this game on factory electrons; as blessed by the powers of Cap and Com - with mask roms and factory stickers are "on hold". I shall wait for a suitable B board to pop up in my part of the world (I may be waiting a while) and dream of the day.
In the meantime I'll be converting a COTA board that I have played to death. Worry not, no factory electrons will be harmed in the conversion.
My question is around versions of D&D SOM.
For the USA release there were two versions
Early version had the "name bug" which was hilarious, but also another bug that disabled final strike
Later version fixed the name bug (boo!) but also fixed final strike (yaaaay!)
My question is, which is which?
I'm looking at the list of releases here https://github.com/libretro/fbalpha2012_cps2/blob/master/gamelist.txt
DDSOMUR1 = 960902
DDSOMU = 960616
So logically DDSOMU(R1) would be the later revision with the fixes applied. But DDSOMU has the later release date.
Does anyone know for sure?
