Dead or Alive ++ Tecmo TPS ZN Mask Rom cross reference

Hi!

I recovered a Dead or Alive Rom Board ++ I apparently have dead rom masks
I don't know the exact reference used, probably 32MB ,on the PCB of the Romboard it is screen printed on the empty space UPD23C32000GX.

I would like to know if I can use MX29L3211MC-10 with a LDO Voltage Regulator ?

what do you mean by pin33 to put it in the right mode (byte/word) ?

It is probably already set correctly. If not you would have to lift the pin and either connect it to gnd or vcc depending on the mode it has to be in.

I received the chips, I chose a +5v to 3.3v regulator for the new new chip which works at 3.3v

Tell me if this is correct or if you have a better suggestion in terms of case size, smaller or another component that will work
