Different Versions Of Naomi 1 Motherboards?

So the Naomi 1 motherboard I just bought one ebay has the following bios chip in it:

EPR

D

21578

I have found other versions but they all have 21576 and not 21578.

Is this bios version common or a special version?

D is common. It's just an older version.

What about the number 21578 as opposed to 21576 ? I haven't seen 21578 on any pics of boards that find on google.

21576 = Japanese
21578 = Export

So the number simply represents the region, the letter represents the version.

there are definitely different board VERSIONS but what you're talking about is BIOS version- the system is designed to have operator-serviceable bios swaps to support new games, change regions, etc.
