hello,

Been testing this naomi, works like a charm with world series 99; however, when I try to boot anything from the GD-ROM or using the sega CF kit, it does not boot at all, the monitor keeps showing no signal. Tried swapping the dimm RAM modules with another pair I have and nothing. Both lights on the dimm board appear red. Also, not sure if this is normal, but the naomi keeps a red and a green light on. BIOS ver EPR-D-21577. Voltages are OK as I’m using a OEM psu. Dimm board upgraded to version 4.02 by one fine gent from this group :-) Any ideas on what to check?
For the record, I removed the shelves for testing purposes.

are you using an original keychip to load zerokey games?

I assume that you are running that game from an original cart, right? Which means that the Naomi works.

As @Mitsurugi-w said, you need to update your BIOS. You've got EPR-21577d - NAOMI BOOT ROM 1999 06/04 1.40 (USA)
and you should have something newer. From the top of my head, this one should be OK: EPR-21577h

Did you try with another DIMM? Did you try with an original Keychip+GDROM (this is my first test always to make sure that both Naomi and GDROM work well)

any regular game works. Dimm based (CF/GD) does nothing. Not even boots neither returns error 01.
