DIY for CPS1 Multi Mono to Stereo Wired Cabinet

These RCA output line converters are inexpensive and work well to connect a CPS1 multi mono audio to a stereo wired cabinet.

I soldered a mini plug to the CPS1 multi adapter card JAMMA pin audio out pins. Then I connected one of these output line converters by installing a plug on it so that it can be easily attached or removed when needed. I doubled up the wires from the converter so the connection makes dual mono out.

They also work well for adapting things like sony zn-* to output in stereo either in a cab or outputting to a home entertainment amp, etc.

Just a word or warning with this setup if you are wiring straight to speakers not an external amp. Check your speaker impedence and the max impedence of the CPS1 amp. While I can't remember the exact numbers I know that I have my cab speakers wired in series (+ wire to s1 +, wire from s1 - to s2 + and - wire to s2 -) because if I wired them in parallel like shown I exceeded the max impedence of the CPS1 amp. That is bad and can fry the amp. I do have quite high power speakers however.
