Does system es3 have ata protection?

when I put the system es3 hdd to my computer, It doesn’t recognized. Is the hdd have bios ata lock? Because normal hdd pair with BitLocker, it can be recognized. It just have to enter the password.(As I known,bios ata lock is protect to the hdd only system es3 can recognize it and read data.) But I am not sure. So I am now concern, is there have two protection? BitLocker+Bios ata lock

Yeah it works.
It's "bitlocked" but it works on any USB<>Sata adapter.
