@Derick2k its holding up great man. Thanks for the kind words. I’d messed with plenty of EL wire/panels before doing this so I was well aware of the dreaded whine when I went in.
The panel I used for the instruction space has no noticeable whine and I’m pretty sensitive to that sound. The inverter is near the psu and doesn’t make any noticing whine. It was the more expensive of the panels and came from a much more professional vendor than what I used for the marquee. That one did whine and I mostly keep it off honestly. I was going to replace it from the good vendor but it’s pretty expensive for what it is and have thought about a led strip + plexi solution instead.
Overall the illuminated movestrip was the main goal of the project and the marquee was kind of an afterthought so it m still really happy with it.
