Hi everybody, my Naomi was on for about 24 hours then turned if off for a couple of hours then after powered on again suddenly i get error 22 every time.
i tried cleaning the contacts, took it off the shell and held both board during boot, removed the battery, tried to switch to gdrom boot, removed the keychip nothing seems to help, the naomi works fine with other carts just the net dimm.

Any ideas anybody?

Problem with top PCB connection on simm board. Try to remove the top PCB, clean the connector and place the PCB. Test and tell us what happens.

How’s your voltages? What PSU/Cab/Supergun are you using?
Here is the PSU, i use also a downscaler from 220v to 110v just to be safe

Another thing forgot to mention - 2 red LEDs light on bottom board on top board the LEDs near the ethernet jack light on power for a sec but then nothing

Either your PSU is faulty/wrongly tuned (you need at least 3.20V (3.3V recommended) on load and 5.0V on load for a dimm setup; or your dimm board buffer chip is dying.

If the PSU is the problem - any way to test it with other carts? if it's the buffer chip - is it on top or bottom board and can it be replaced?

You would need to test with another PSU or another dimm board. Cartridges don't draw nearly as much power, especially on the 3.3v line so that's not a good test.
