Need to add colours on the marquee of your japanese cabinet ?

I scanned a bunch of F3 art/manuals years ago. I sent a copy of everything to @rtw, but not sure if he ever put it up anywhere. If he doesn't have it hosted, maybe I'll try to find where I put it :)

I have it all @undamned but real life got in the way, will happily contribute as soon as I have access to my machines again.

It would be good if we could get someone to make up some html and then I could host it on world-of-arcades.

As for quality wise, 600 DPI is good, 300 DPI is good as well but we will store it in PNG instead of jpg...
 
Hmm, some of these appear to be 404ing, and definitely I know some promotional material is missing. Is this the entirety of what the community has? I'm trying to put together a "History of the F3" page, and would like to include as much as possible.

If anyone has scans or pictures to contribute, I'd love to have them! (I will share with the community when I get my webpage up. Maybe we can find a canonical home for this information.)
 
I have quite a bit of TAITO F3 Artwork stuff, Some collected, some my own and a lot from @undamned

However most of it requires cleanup, stitching, PDF generation etc.

Due to lack of time all of this has been put on the back burner :(

Ideally we would create a group of people who would work on each title.
Therefore we need people with experience in Photoshop or similar programs.

For each completed set we could share it here, on WOA or similar.

I welcome your comments and contributions :D
 
I have quite a bit myself, but I need to buy a good scanner first, is there any one you'd recommend for the best quality/resolution/colour?

I think first step is to collect raw scans of the same/similar quality, and just put them someplace accessible. I'm thinking to create a git repo for this content, and maybe we can just file issues and have people take issues if they want to contribute (for cleanup, stitching, etc). Does this sound reasonable?

I will probably create a more formal proposal for the git repo, and plans for what will be in it, later this month or early next month.

Incidentally, that's the same scanner I was considering getting! Sounds like a plan, I'll grab one next month sometime.

I'll make a new thread when the repo is available.

I didn't put the link for the lightbringer japanese art, because the original is in. Jpg format.

I converted it to. Png when i did the translation in english on paintbrush (yes you read right paintbrush :D it's a. jpg "save as" a.png, you can do it yourself:rolleyes:), but you can find the original japanese art file on this page:

A shame, there doesn't seem to be any of the character panels in good quality.
