Hello everyone,
I'm here to kindly ask you guys if you have any idea on how to revive my broken Lindbergh motherboard.
The problem consists of ANYTHING connected to the CF Slot/IDE1/IDE2 on the motherboard not getting recognized/seen by the system/BIOS.
Just boot up your Lindy and in the very first screen you will see something like "Fixed Disk: <CFCARD>", well that's not for me sadly...
I've spent hours playing around with the CF pins on the motherboard, set to CF Slave (9-10)/CF Master (Default, 11-12), connecting HDDs (set them to Master/Slave, it doesn't matter) to IDE1/IDE2. There's no way to make anything be recognized if connected to these ports, and that's a problem.
Obviously I get to the point in the POST screen where it shows "Error 0B4B: IDE Primary Master Device Detect Error" and the boot process stops.

The only working port is the SATA one. Anything connected to it is correctly listed in BIOS (you will also see it in the boot-up process). I also wrote the multiboot CF image onto an SSD drive and I can boot into Grub. SATA is working!
I've already tried, with no luck:
If you have any idea what the issue could be or what I should look for (buy a new motherboard?
), that would be very helpful. Thanks a lot guys, any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks a lot again in advance and have a very great day!

I've already tried, with no luck:
- 2/3 working GPUs;
- Replaced DIMMs, tested all 4 slots in both single/dual channel;
- Replaced CPU, tried 2/3 different P4;
- Hundreds of CMOS resets/Removing CR2032/Repeat;
- Used an IDE to SATA and an IDE to CF adapter, connected in both IDE1/2;
- Used various Multi CFs;
- Used many Original SEGA CFs;
- Deep clean of the motherboard with isopropyl alcohol and inspect every single component that might look damaged from the outside, everything looks ok;
- Locking/Unlocking the boot sequence did not provide any benefit;
- Disabling everything that could be disabled in the BIOS (PCI Slots/Audio/LAN);
If you have any idea what the issue could be or what I should look for (buy a new motherboard?

EDIT:
- I start thinking there could be some kind of PCI line connection damage considering that removing the heatsink the first time the CPU got ripped out with it.
- I'd also add to this that problems on this motherboard started more or less 2 years ago when I had to move the JVS I/O PCI Card from Slot 4 (Default) to Slot 2 because in Slot 4 it lights up yellow, same today.
