The board is working (selftest, music, sounds, controls are OK) but has surprising gfx issue - picture seems to be moved 2/3 down.

A and B boards are fine. C is the cause of the problem
When I've changed c-board for another one from fully working Final Fight - everthing is OK.
My question is - Is it possible to fix CPS1 c-board or I should start looking for another working 88622-C-5?
Thanks.

If for fixing you mean a simply reflow of the ASIC or patching broken traces, the answer is yes.If the IC is bad internally, no way :) From my experience the ASIC is faulty, I have 2-3 bad ones, it's a prone to failure component.
Anyway, if you don't want to use the same CPS-B-04 C-BOARD you can always use a different one (with different ASIC, I mean, like the common CPS-B-21) but you have to modify the program code (which store ASIC registers).

Thank you cauis.
I'll try to reflow it but I guess that ASIC is faulty.
I've got CPS B-21 - now i should start to learn - "how to modify the program code" ;)
BTW - CPS C-boards fail quite often - I've 3 or 4 working B-board with faulty or missing C.

The shifted screen is one of the well known symptoms of a CPS-B-xx failure.
Don't waste your time with a reflow.
