Hey all, just paring down a bit. Everything here is in good working order. I'm always happy to negotiate if prices seem off.

ST-V Board with Darksoft Multi - Board came from Tops in 2021 and is very clean with no repairs. Has LCD selector, installed by me. Has reset wire, which makes everything a lot more convenient on this. Where possible, dupont connectors were used to connect the various wires. This wasn't possible in some places. Fully set up with all the roms and ready to jam. Will also include a black 3D printed ST-V cartridge case, maybe you can find a way to use it with this setup.

Because some of the wires are soldered to the board and to the multi, the multi is effectively tethered to the board. I'm of course going to take particularly great care when packing this, but it's certainly a possibility that a wire could come off in shipping. Please understand this before purchasing. I'll document the locations of the wires very well before shipping and will work with a buyer to help get everything set up on your end, if necessary. $700 > $650 > $600 > $550 including shipping, not going any lower than this. Capcom IO - Works great, in decent shape. When I received this, there were some wires soldered from some of the kick harness pins to the solder pads behind some of the contacts on the jamma edge. I desoldered all of that and it functions like normal now. Kick harness works with no issues too. There appears to be some kind of adhesive that has hardened on the aluminum shell. $150 - Sold for asking price

CPS2 X Men: Children of the Atom with A board - US A board, US B board. Case is clean and in nice condition. No cracks, no missing plastic, but a few scratches here and there. Running on battery, which was last changed in 2020. Comes with a set of CPS2 feet. Also have a Silent 6 fan, but I never got around to installing it. I'll put it in the box with this. $300 > Sold for $250, which included shipping.

Hi, I'm super interested in the ST-V board. I'm not an expert, so please bear with me as I have some questions.

Looking up the Darksoft STV multi, I find this version: https://highscoresave.com/darksoft-stv-multigame-kit-dark-knight-edition/. Is this the same version installed here? Is it an earlier version? If so, what features are missing? The link I posted mentions a 'sound kit', is that installed already, or necessary to get audio from the ST-V board?

I'm located in the US, in 90042. How much would shipping be, or is that included? Thank you!

To me it looks like it's an early version of the stv darksoft which is cart based. The version you linked utilizes the 4 slot connectors. There are some feature differences between the two that maybe someone who is better versed can describe but for me the LCD selector or this and the OLED screen selector with the dark knight is the main difference for me.
 
Differences between the two kits are:

OLED screen support on the Dark Knight Multi. Dark Knight also comes with a LCD screen as stock. The original cart based multi relies on jumper shunts to change games, unless you grab the awesome @stt1 LCD add-on.

Form factor is different on the Dark Knight Multi as it sits on the four connectors as opposed using the cart slot.

Header exists on the Dark Knight Multi to allow for use of sound board that is only for the Batman arcade game. Repros for this board are apparently in the works :)

TLDR; As far as gameplay goes, they are functionally the same. If you don’t care to play Batman, don’t mind a LCD selector / jumpers, and also don’t mind the form factor of the cartridge based multi… then the OG works great!

Hey there, thanks for your post.

I got this multi from High Score Saves at the end of 2021, so the multi is the earlier version which sits in the cart slot. This version of the multi didn't come with an LCD selector, but a member here made a kit which added this functionality. I purchased that LCD kit and installed it myself. It works great and makes this totally simple to use.

I'm afraid I don't know anything about the Batman game, but it apparently uses a bespoke sound PCB. It sounds like the new version of the multi has the header for this PCB built in, but you would still need to find the sound PCB in order to take advantage of that feature.

The header for the sound PCB represents the only feature missing from my ST-V setup. I'm unsure if that PCB gives the Batman game additional sound features or what (I've never loaded this game up), but audio for every other game on ST-V works just fine on this.

I would just ask for $10 to help cover the cost of shipping fees to the US! Thanks again!

Everything but ST-V is gone. Last price drop. Not going any lower than this. If it doesn't move at this price, going to ebay!
