Flat Joystick plate with S plate holes? (JLF in a Super Neo 29 II)

I have a Super Neo 29 Type II cabinet. I have Seimitsu LS-32's in there with S plates the cabinet came with. They're wider than the typical LS-32 mounting plate. I want to use JLFs. The stock flat JLF plate is not wide enough. The Kowal and Paradise Arcade Shop flat adapters are also all not wide enough.

JLF S plates fit but they end up being flush meaning the shafts are too long.

Does anyone know of a flat plate that's wide enough to span the mounting holes for an S plate panel? Or does anyone know of a store with short JLF shafts in stock? (Seems Focus Attack and Paradise have been sold out every time I look.)
 
Another solution you can do instead of buying a shorter shaft is to use spacers on the Sanwa S Plate to move it down. I used these on Amazon. The plate no longer sits flush against the mounting brackets, but in my experience it won't hurt anything. The screw pressing on the spacers provide enough security so that the joystick is secure in place.

I wanted to try to avoid using spacers since the screws are kinda short and there's only two mounting holes.

I got the short shafts (way too expensive), I'll update when they arrive. I also got the big Pac Man universal plates from Paradise Arcade Shop. They don't have the holes but I think they'll be big enough to drill your own.
 
The short shafts came in today and they're the perfect height. I swear I can feel the spring now though since the shafts are lighter. Also the shafts are pretty thick, about as thick as a jfl with shaft cover so you need larger than normal dust washers (I used dust washers from a shaft cover kit).

After spending some time with the short shafts they just felt off.

I ended up using 1/4 nylon spacers and longer screws. I don't like the super small contact patch the plate has now though, but at least the sticks feel right.

I contacted a metal bracket fabrication place for some quotes on reproducing the Seimitsu plates and making long JLF plates.
