If it's playing blind, it's probably that black custom Konami thing near the center of the jamma connector. I have one that only like it in certain positions.

typically when that one fails the screen becomes solid white (I've fixed two blind GXs where that custom has failed)

I was simply commenting that if it's black instead of white it's probably another issue.
