Tried to find details based on the pictures, but I couldn't find anything. It's interesting... but no idea what it does.

It appears to be a JVS adapter that allows you to plug in various console controllers and USB controllers for use on JVS based boards/games. More details would be great.

Yeah, if that's what it is I'll take it... but the pictures show it hooked to a supergun via the DB15 port which makes me thing its a USB to various retro ports. Not seeing anything on it that would indicate JVS.

Closest match I could find: http://www.brunofreitas.com/node/90

Unfortunately a lot of Chinese supergun products are now being branded with "SNK" or "Neo Geo" making finding specifics rough. @qushuang any more info?

I figured the micro usb is for power and the mini usb would go to JVS. Though, it could be just as you said and connect USB controllers to retro consoles.

What I see looks like an Arduino board, a USB decoder board and a USB power port. Not seeing anything that could handle JVS. It looks identical to the USB2Classic (including the same controller and buffer chips) so I am thinking its a clone of that board.

Which I would be interested in if that can be confirmed...
Note: the design is opensource (GPL3) so no issues with clones.

Wow, yeah, I should have looked at the link. It does look like a clone of the USB2Classic.

Edit: I think the OP is conflating JVS and Supergun and this is a clone of the USB2Classic.

So... because I needed a new supergun I placed an aliexpress order and added one of these things to the mix. We'll see what I get when it arrives.

Aliexpress order has arrived, and it looks much like I expected... have a USB encoder, an Arduino and the expected ports.

What confused me about it is the separate 5v USB power input (which is a difference along with the TG16/PCE outputs vs the USB2Classic)... it's not routed to the Arduino, so not sure how I'm expected to wire this up. No instructions etc. @qushuang anything you can tell me?
