I got a golden axe board running but it is silent and pink. Game works otherwise and passes all self tests. Swapping the Z80 gave no results. Any advice on what to check?

Turns out the pink was caused by a bad jamma to sega converter; still no sound

After some investigation I found the amp with the heatsink is dead. mb3733 right?

Yes. I would also check the uPC324C (LM324) and uPC804 (TL084) opamps if sound does not come back, probably a good one could be piggybacked on top of the suspected one

I do see something from the opamps on a scope; but we'll see what happens when I get a replacement amp.

Amp replaced; game working and installed back in cab.
