Golden Axe Port - Dev log

Oh man, is this released yet or only for testers? I'd be happy to test a NeoSD build! I have a legit US PCB to compare it to.

@h0ffman I just wanted to say that I have been following this dev log since it started but haven't been able to comment until now. Your posts are super informative and I just wanted to say thank you very much for the work you are doing. I loved your Shinobi port, which has essentially made my bootleg arcade PCB of it redundant ;-) I can't wait to play your Golden Axe port on my Neo Geo CD and keep up the the amazing work!

Going to do a short stream tomorrow so we can package this bad boy up and get it released. In the mean time, enjoy the Neo Geo CD version with epic orcehstral soundtrack by Richard Douglas.

dude, PLAY GOLDEN AXE !
( spreading love @h0ffman )

Thank you my man, just did a run through, feels great. The only issue I'm immediately seeing is graphical corruption (at the top of the screen) when using magic, NeoSD Pro version.

The sound is amazing, you really did a great job! They almost sound too clean!

Are you referring to the dashed lines?

I only noticed it with the female.

I love welding, I love this game.
What a night guys! thanks to everyone's work, a magical night of retro graming and dj h0ffman music, we should do it more often.
ps. my copy is not for sale and it's only mine <3 if you want one, make it, it's very simple also be educational.(check picture to jumpers help)

I thought it was right to correct it to 106

Thanks for this great release. I firstly tried the CD version with MAME neocdz, it worked. Then I tried the neosd and the darksoft versions with HBMAME, both worked. Then lastly I added the "mame" roms to HBMAME as a new game, and that worked too.

So, 100% success, looks like all that testing paid off. Well done. :)
