Good PSU replacement options for X68000 XVI

My machine had a recapped original PSU so I thought I'd be ok for a while but it gave a nasty crackling noise when I turned on the power switch today and promptly died, so I need to figure out a good replacement option. I'd prefer to avoid external modifications if possible and also keep things tidy inside. Are there any particularly clean solutions for this that people would recommend?

The fuse was actually unbroken. I read that the crackling sound might be caused by arcing between components and part of the PSU board did look a bit burnt so I'm assuming that's indeed what happened.

I did read something about PicoPSUs ptentially having issues with the soft power switch not working properly. Is there anything I need to be aware of to avoid running into that issue?

The soft power button is fussy and acts up frequently with the original power supplies too. There's details here, along with an app you can run that will tell you if it can detect a problem with your computer's soft power.

Honestly, even though the soft power works fine with my PicoPSU, I always turn the computer off with the hard switch in the back anyway. The X68000 doesn't "deep sleep" in the same way that modern PCs do - the power supply will stay powered to preserve the X68000's RAM when the soft power switch is off.
