I've been to your country twice, to Warsaw for work and enjoyed it very much. The food was incredible as I was there when wild mushrooms were being harvested. I brought back a lot of hand made ornaments from Bombkarnia too
I also felt incredibly safe walking everywhere, taking pictures, and acting like a tourist.
I got one of those cabs you're not supposed to take from the airport (out of the cab line) and the guy wanted to practice his English. I learned a lot about the history from him, but he turned stone cold when I pointed and asked "What's that building?" and he very coldly replied "It was a gift from Russia." - Ouch, I didn't know I was hitting a raw nerve.
I had a great time and Bobby Burger does a great American cheeseburger.
