What's new

Greetings from the exotic state of North Carolina

Just make sure you take the right gun to the range and the right one to the arcades
Why settle?

Awesome, where can I get one?! :D

Man, I hate the bullshit gun laws in NYC, but I can see why they have them, way too many unstable crazies going around NYC.

All you have to do is send your gun to a refinisher. They can use any colors on the individual parts that you want. They get powdercoated similar to how some auto parts are. In fact a lot of auto body shops do the work. You'd need to do the Nintendo logo yourself but everything else can be done for a few hundred dollars professionally.

My Kimber needs to be refinished. So this gives me some ideas....

That's a bit more difficult. I really don't want to get an FFL. Too much to deal with.

directly in front of the pizzeria is 4 buildings put together as a clothing store. They moved out in march so it's empty. I can only have 3 cabs inside but on events I can put more.

I was thinking about having gaming events once I get this new business settled in. Right now my arcades are going in the back but I'll move them to the front during events. It'll be a good while before any of this takes place. Taking my time buying the arcades so I only have three at the moment. Greenville is a great place to have events being that it's in a college town. I'm down in the hood so there would be some travel involved but the building is 5000+sqft so at least I could fit a good selection of stuff to make the drive worth while. The only arcades I know of are in Myrtle beach, Greensboro, Charlotte and Raleigh has Abari, I think, never been to that one. Myrtle beach arcade has the super awesome 6 player X-Men.

I've been going back and forth in my mind about opening a family fun center type place here specifically for that reason, besides the fact that family entertainment here is essentially non-existent.

Already have a year running the pizzeria. I might do a yearly thing for it on April 1(day we opened). Take out the tables and fill the walls with arcade cabs. I think I can squeeze 10 in Total. I want to host mitsurugi's Tournament battle if he will let me on my gen 1 big blue cabs.

You might have to mix it with a bar/food/retro games if you will have a small selection. Go big and take on the galloping ghost and have a ton of games.

I'm in Greenville. Let's get drunk and play games.Edit: Except Mitsu. I will consume his share also. ;)
Do you have any Arcades? I just started collecting them and for this area it's been a pain to locate anything with a reasonable price that works. I feel I've been a little lucky. I've managed to get Blitz 99 for 260, SF3 for 100 and a Neo Geo 4 slot for 150 in the past two months. My mission is to locate the Mortal Kombat series for a decent price. I found an UMK3 for 450 but was in the incorrect cabinet.

I have a DDR solo and this week have purchased 2 Vewlix clones, a Crisis Zone and a NG 4 slot. I've also recently picked up Puzzle Fighter and SFA3 boards, a Mr Driller 2 board, a JNX supergun, a MvC2 setup and a Fearless Pinnochio redemption game. More stuff on the way. Edit: I also totally have a Megatouch upright in my kitchen.
