hello there,
new-ish here , been getting a couple of arcade machines for a couple years so I figure I should join this place.

current cabs,

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy All-Star Carnival​

2 Astro city, with Puyo Puyo and Soul Calibur
Wacca
Jackbot pinball machine
Atomiswave i'm converting from hunting to buttons
and a few Japanese slot machines, ( metal slug, speed racer, jet set radio )
and newly acquired red DDR machine and a Sound Voltex - both of which i will need help with

Welcome! I joined over the summer after I found someone local (Milwaukee) who gave me a nice deal on a vewlix C. Been learning bit by bit and the site has been a great resource. Hoping to eventually find a CRT CC locally as well but that can wait. Welcome to the forums!

What do you run in yours?
 
Traded away the ttx3 as I was looking for for a high fidelity machine for modern fighters. I’ve got something else for shmups.

I discovered Arithmus’s Console I/O (awesome!), decided to gut it, restore it, and make it run a PC (Bigbox config still needs to happen), PS5 (redundant) and a Switch (which has a great arcade library). It has an old AVR on the inside with an I/O passthrough panel in the back to connect video and data to the consoles. Currently a budget 1440p/120hz monitor (can’t believe that’s a thing). I’ve got single and two player panels in both vewlix and hitbox layouts on order. Needless to say I’ve got quite a bit of money in this thing but I love it. I would not do anything like this if it were a crt cab.

I’m also drafting a part-out sale thread from what I didn’t reuse. Maybe something in there for you? Should be up in a day or so.

Where have you gotten your various cabs?
 
Got the 2 Astros from China
Vewlix, wacca, ddr and voltex from importer out west
All star carnival from importer in the east
And the atomiswave stand up was local-ish
And the pinball was up in Minnesota
About out of space now though
