My GB2 is good on sound, also strikers 1999, well at least not that I can detect. Havent put them on the scope yet. So resorting to try and get one that has the known issue.

I just ordered spare parts, the 2 dacs, amp, opamp. Will order caps and resistors when I get a chance.

But yes, also makes it easy to get a new one as well, then looking for days at storage :D I gotta reorganize them better.
 
Have GB2 on the way from another member, says sound is good, but maybe the issue is there.
 
I have a Tengai with high pitch squeal. I can live with it, but not ideal. Not for sale, but super interested in a solution. I changed caps but did not fix.
 
Dang it, i keep checking ebay to see if one pops up with bad audio for cheap. I might have to offer to trade a good working GB2 for one with bad audio.

I'm curious why you're so interested. anything in particular you'd want me to test or document on mine?

Really just curious to see what this noise/interference issue is, lol. I think that extra GB2 arrive today, need to test it for the noise issue, but the seller said he didn't notice it.
 
I have a Strikers 1945 II with that high pitch sound issue.

It is only noticeable in some parts of the attract mode and the game play. I suppose it happpens when lots of traffic sprite data is made.
