Noticed the ps was putting out 6 volts. Replacing that even turning it down didn't move it.

Did you measure it under load? You sure it's not an unregulated power supply?

Almost done. Wish the board was here so I can play it. Monitors both capped thanks to the member who mentioned ian kelloggs site. Cheap caps and very easy to do. Side art is on and monitors are in.
