I decided to start a project to make it easier to store and play my recently collected arcade boards along with take up less space. In cringe every time I remove the bubble wrap from them. Obviously I am designing it to play with the top off which makes sense for cooling anyway. The HAS adapter and top can be held on by m3 thumb screws. Indents were added to the top so the thumb screws don't stick out. It may be easier to just use m3 screws to hold the top on with a screwdriver. I used the below brass thumb screws since they are lower profile. If make the case bottom universal/thicker then I can use thumb screws that have a Phillips head also. I was trying to save on print time and plastic.

My goal was to make it so I can reuse the HAS V5 adapter for different games as needed. This was my first attempt. I think for the next ones I will redesign it to not have the standoffs built in and instead make it universal so you can use the readily available generic standoffs and drill holes where needed. I think if you line it up ahead of time with the HAS adapter in place it will work much better. This will better accommodate old boards that have a bow in them better and make it so I don't have to keep designing a custom case for each board. I can just make a few different shape boxes and changing the dimensions only takes a few minutes in fusion 360. Side support clips for double layer boards can also be made in a few minutes for different games.
