HDD Replacement for Konami Drummania v3 and Guitar Freaks v3

I have both a Drummania v3 and a Guitar Freaks v3 with Hard Disks that are starting to play up. I also have the relevant install discs and game discs for these but I cannot seem to install them onto a fresh drive.

What are my options to install onto new drives and ensure the new drives work with the security dongles? I am assuming the issues I have is because I have tried to run a different HDD to the original.

There is a crack for the original GFDM V which will let you use a replacement hard drive, but not V2 or V3. If you want I can send it to you.

IMO: look on yahoo auctions for a pair of old Jubeat or GFDM computers. They are cheap when they show up because they're old now. They will plug right in and you can play cracked V8, which was the final classic GFDM release.
