I just recently got into this hobby, (arcade stuff) by accident as an old arcade shop closed, and had sold many of their stuff (many more were thrown away).
Got a few old games from them (metal slug, marvel super heroes vs street fighter, tekken 2 , king of fighters 99, shock troopers, Battle Bakraid -6 games in 6 New Astro Cities).
I got really into it for a few months and have been scouring the malls(arcades) and inquiring about old /unused/damaged cabinets .. and got lucky for a few times,
I got a (van gogh) Photobooth machine-empty, The Lost world Standup Cabinet-only, broken Taito Real Puncher (sonic blast man?)
2 units Sega Versus City with tekken 5 and soul calibur 3 in it. Seems like arcades here are slowly disposing their stuff in favor of ticket redemption machines...
I even got more addicted and learned I can buy old games from Yahoo Auctions Japan.
the 5 Astro Cities I sold after a few months to fund my purchases of new games (I kept the Metal Slug NeoGeo and battle bakraid, and one Astro city).
I also have 1 point blank 3 machine whose guns dont track completely the entire screen (screen has some scratches, and guns wont track in those areas)
1 chinese Racing Cab, It had outrun 2 SP ---> amazingly those chinese people just used a regular PC, with a hacked outrun PC game, and made a custom IO and a Custom force feedback board)
My current "new" stuff is
1 Yellow Lindbergh (no games yet)
1 Red Lindbergh (rambo, japanese version
)
1 System 357 (tekken 6, does not run, dont know why)
3 System 369 (tekken tag 2 unli, account error)
