Hey everyone! I'm Morra, an electronics hobbyist and retro fanatic. I love to fix up and repair old game consoles, and have a decent side business doing so. Naturally, as my interests have grown, I've been slowly going down the arcade rabbit hole.
I'm mostly interested in the Japanese arcade scene. I have a Taito Vewlix L AMI and have it currently as a MAME cabinet, though currently I mostly use it to play SF6. I really want to start learning more and getting into official hardware. One day going to make the jump into getting a candy cabinet. The Blast City is the most visually appealing to me, but I'll likely take what I can get when that day comes. I haven't repaired CRTs too much beyond a recap, but I'm hoping to learn a some more.
I'm a huge rhythm game fan. Groove Coaster is a comfortable classic for me. Very much on the prowl for a Project Diva cabinet as a wedding gift to my fiancée. I love the original Monkey Ball arcade game, and while I don't think I'll every be lucky enough to find one/afford one, I hope to do a conversion project at some point.
Anyway, I've been lurking for a bit and I'm looking forward to actually engaging in the conversation here!
