Hi everyone,
I've been a big gamer since the 80s and worked at an arcade in the 90s. This last decade I've gotten into CRT and gaming console repair, collecting a fair amount of random spare parts.

Well, I've decided that I need to build an arcade of my own. Using one of my spare console motherboards and a rebuilt CRT tv. It seems like it would be a fun winter project, though I am rather torn on just what tv and board to use. How in the heck do you choose just one?

anyhow, it's nice to be here and I'm sure I'll have to be asking a lot of questions.

Welcome! Lots of resources on here to help. I think some of the best values is using a Mister FPGA with component inputs if you just want to get playing. Otherwise can get into super guns and all that if you want to use an arcade board with a crt.

Welcome Hudson. I'm from Bellingham myself and would love seeing people in WA interested in the same hobby
