Glad to be here!

I'm pretty new to this hobby as I'm currently looking for my first cab; although, I've been messing around with arcade emulation (both hardware and software) for a while.

Hoping to spend some time here and find a nice CRT candy cab to get me started on my cab adventure. Would love a holy grail item like an Egret II or a Capcom Mini Cute, but mostly seeing if I can cop a Sega cab to start. If anyone knows anyone selling cabs that can ship within the US (or is importing any), that'd be awesome!

I’m right there with you - love the cabs with tri-sync monitors because of how versatile they are. Will keep my eyes open if I see anything posted near you
 
Welcome dude. Yeah I'm no stranger to the cheese state; that's where my dad is from and I stay near Appleton once a year. :D
And oh yeah I am Sega head myself (but I have no cabinets), though there is a lot of inevitable maitenance you will be fighting when you collect even something as small as arcade boards.

I'm hoping to allievate a bit of that by using my MiSTer for the most part and just collecting a couple of select boards I really want, but obviouslyyou can't avoid all maintenance in a hobby that relies so much on CRTs...

But yeah Wisco is a dangerously underrated state, lived here most of my life and moved back here after living in Washington for 2 years and haven't looked back!
