[Help] IGS PGM Gladiator Glitch !

Hi Guys,
A friend gave me this IGS PGM Gladiator game and that is what I have on the screen.
The cart have been stored for many year and come from his personnal collection.
I tried to clean the JAMMA and the eeproms legs but didn't notice any change.
I'm using it on a HAS Supergun and my other games are working great. I tried with different mother boards and always the same issue.
Maybe @Fluffy or @GC8TECH can help me to sort this out

The graphics that are glitching are sprites, so generated by "A" and "B" ROMs. The pictures you posted are the program board, which is most likely fine, the problem comes most likely from the other board..
I expect it is most likely a fault with the "B" ROMs, either a dodgy soldering connection or some oxidation on the connector.

The scrolling graphics come from the "T" ROM on the program board, which looks fine.
The "B" ROM stores which pixel are visible, and the start address of the graphics in "A" ROM. (If I understand the Mame graphics driver correctly that is.)
The "A" ROM stores the pixel data.

If you look on the ROM labels, they are starting with Axxx, Bxxx, Mxxx or Txxx.

I have seen similar issue.There is something wrong with the security ARM7 (asic 27) on the cart. It could be faulty work SRAM.. or the ARM7 / ASIC 27.

You can replace the SRAM... but not the ASIC 27 / ARM7.

I had a similar problem with my Gladiator when I got it. I didn't get the error messages, but I did get a lot of those flashing, moving vertical lines. I reached down and slowly pulled on the right corner of the cart
working it out of the slot just a little and the lines went away. I used to have to do that with certain Neo Geo games where, if they were slotted all the way, would glitch out.

I know this is an old thread. But I recently purchased a PGM and never knew it existed.

Anyways, upon connecting it to my HAS 3.1 via scart through component converter .. I get same glitches on all my cave games. Espgaluda, ketsui, and dondonpachi. Glitches are sporadic.

Could it be the console pgm?
