The converter typically comes from the factory with language set to Chinese, you have to set it to english (or spanish) first before you can navigate the menu.
To change the language, you would push the yellow Menu button on the converter and you should see the menu appear on screen. the SW button should change to the different inputs, you need to be on the RGBS one if I'm not mistaken.
If none of that works, hold the down button for 30 seconds while powered on and it will reset the converter to defaults. Buena Suerte!
