Hello everyone, I'm hoping you can help me with the following problem.

I recently acquired an Astro City arcade cabinet. It came with the original JAMMA wiring (as far as I understand) and a Pandora DX 5000. I currently have some original PCBs from Neo Geo, Polygame Master, and Crystal System, but I understand that to display them correctly, I should make the corresponding image adjustments on the chassis. I'd like to know if it's possible to install a remote adjustment control to facilitate these changes, but I understand that to do so, I would need to know the chassis model, and I'm not sure about that since I thought the original chassis was replaced, but I can't confirm it. Would it be possible to determine the chassis model from these images? (I haven't been able to take any higher-quality ones.)

I would appreciate any support in this regard. :D

That's a MS8-29. You already have a remote for it, it's under the CP.

Thank you very much :D . I've been following the cable from the chassis and I see that the remote is on that metal panel just below the CRT monitor (I can't reach it by opening the control panel; I had to remove the front panel of the machine to access it). Is it possible to buy a longer cable somewhere? I'd like to see if it's possible to change the remote's position, perhaps to leave it inside the control panel or near the coin mechanism, but I don't think the current cable will allow me to move it.

Ah, that explains it. I just noticed the wires going in the right direction. Normally in an Astro the remote is mounted here:

As for a longer harness, you can make a WTB, maybe someone has a spare. You might need to crimp your own though.

Thank you so much for your help. I'll look for information on how to make mine.

That harness looks correct to me.

Does anyone know if this wiring harness is sold elsewhere? (The seller seems to have been on vacation for ages.) I spent all day crimping and testing the cables because I believed Gemini when he said they were JST NH, but in the end I think they were PH 2.0. Even though I have the cables, terminals, and housings, I don't feel like wasting another day making two more cables. :(

thank you <3
For what it's worth, there are two little brackets that go in that spot on the control panel, that should hold the monitor adjustment board, so that it's not just laying in the cab. It may be difficult to find, but you could also make or 3dprint some.

Make sure to get the correct screws for the fiberglass holes when you install your brackets, so that you don't bore out the holes any larger.

The picture is not inteded to show the control panel locking mech in the red box....it's jsut the fastest pic I could find.
