Hitachi a68 and nanao ms8-29

Hey guys,

Just wondering… can I hook a
Nanao MS8-29 chasis to a Hitachi a68KSA30X tube?
Is there any risk or i can cause any damage?
Also , if everything is ok, will the image have any trouble since the hitachi is really made for the ms9 instead the ms8? Thank you so much

the yoke has to match, not just the size of the tube.

ms8-29 is designed to go onto an a68.

It should be fine. MS8 expects a higher horizontal impedance, but it's still roughly in the same ballpark.

Set the chassis jumper to Narrow and your horizontal size pot to middle position.
