How do you play your netdimm - 15khz or 31khz?

I had thought that MVC2 and CVS2 were on the list but I guess not.
They aren't, and yea I believe you nailed the reason why (ie Naomi games directly ported to DC and NO Naomi game was ever in 240p).
I don't think that list is 100% correct however, because they list SF Zero/Alpha 3... Which again being a directly ported Naomi game I don't think supports 240p native.

the NAOMI release is "SF Zero 3 UPPER"
I knew the title differences yes, but I thought it was still based on the Naomi port and not the original CPS2 version.
Looking at just the release dates however, yup it pre-dates the Naomi version (looks like you are right, so it likely supports 240p native yeah).

Interesting to me is the DC port still contains the replaced hitboxes (with hit polygons) that started with the PS1 version.
It seems like Capcom viewed this as such an improvement (and fix/solution to V-ism/infini-combos) that it actually inspired the Naomi arcade reworking?

I play my Naomi 2 at 31khz, I believe most games look better

My apologies for bumping an older thread but I figured this would be an appropriate place to throw out my question.

I'm waiting on a cabinet that will have a 15khz monitor. I will at some point have a naomi netboot setup and I'll want to hook it up in this cabinet. I am starting to source the parts. I will likely be buying a capcom io in a week or so.

Now my question, setting the naomi to 15khz sets resolution to 480i, right? If so, can I insert a GBS C AIO between the naomi and capcom io and use the GBS to downscale the 480i to 240p? Does the capcom io process the signal or will it just pass through the downscaled 240p?

Thanks!

It looks sharper. For example, you can immediately see there’s a difference in the text in CvS2
