So I have a Sigma supergun because it was pretty cheap ($140~ I think) but was lacking some pretty important parts, namely the proprietary loom and sticks, which use annoying connectors but I'm fine with I guess since it would've been 3x more with them. My main question is, this box uses 13 pin DIN connectors for the sticks. Provided I find the pinout, can I just wire a couple male connectors to a db-15 connector, and then plug in a UD decoder into that, and then plug in a USB stick to that, without the need for a 13 pin DIN --> db-15 decoder? So basically: din connectors —> (screw terminal)male db-15 connector —> UD jamma decoder —> usb stick. Is such a thing even possible?
I have another question but I haven't quite done my bare minimum of research so any help for my issue here will be greatly appreciated.

Considering you are just connecting signal wires and ground you should be fine. And yes, finding and wiring all of the necessary connectors in that series should work. Would be neat to see the end product. Nothing like having to make your own inline converter.

The to these will be to student the output/ pinout from the DIN13 so they are wired right, that is it.

***Is it possible just to install the DB15 in place of the DIN13? That way you can just skip a step in the process. Just food for thought.

hi again, sorry for the super long delay. After I got into this thing I got too bogged down by other things to give serious attention to this, but recently I got freed up and I want to do this before its back to school. I am pretty sure I can't replace the db15, but I think I may be able to forego the db15 entirely.
Basically I want to do this (ft. nick)

But with an open ended DIN 13 cable. Other than figuring out the weird pinout on the cable, does DIN transmit the same signal as db15 to make this possible? (I realize that might be an inane question but I'm that illiterate on the basics)
