Hi all!

I was giving some cleaning to my cabinet for the 1st time, starting with the game pcb, in this case a Neo Geo MV-1B CHX, I found that the component "IC2" is missing from the board (NEO-MVH MV1B CHX) was wondering if this is normal or if somebody knows the function of the IC2 ? Is it a voltage regulator maybe? Because I couldn't find the service manual for it anywhere, and the scan found online hasn't got enough resolution to read its writing...

Top picture is a scan from mvs-scans.com, bottom is a photo from my board, weird thing is that the little red drops are there and the solder pads look like if the IC had fell down at some point?
Board seems to work fine, fortunately, but I am very curious about that IC ?(

Although not the same model, My MV1ACH has IC2 in the same general location.
It is marked PST7044 on the board. It may be the same component.
The component has the Mitsumi "M" 535 and 7044 underneath but PST7044 is the part to search for.

It must be that part, thanks for your help! :D
Seems like it is a "System Reset IC" that sends a signal when it measures over 4.4V in, maybe its a safety measure to turn off the system if it has undervoltage(?).
Case closed!
