Hi everyone,

I just purchased another Initial D cab that needs some minor repair. The seller informed me that the Force feedback on it is pretty weak and needs to be fixed. I was wondering if anybody knows what I should look for in terms of parts when I take it apart?

Thanks!

Swap the motor drive board with a known working one, and if it's not that, try swapping the motor (or actually the whole steering wheel assembly as swapping the motor is kind of annoying).

before i start ordering parts, just wanted to note that the kickback initializing option actually functions on both cabs. Its just that when gameplay starts, there is no Force feedback during actual game play.

Is there any clues that would help out with that issue?

So it moves during initialization, but then does not move at all in-game? Sounds like the motor board is timing out. Try swapping that first.

sorry to resurrect this post, but did you find a solution to this. Mine is doing same thing.

I actually just ended up getting a replacement wheel/set for mine. But I’m currently in the process of cleaning up the wheel I replaced.
