Initial d3 screen flicker and freezes after attract mode

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have a twin can ID3, game loads but freezes at the map selection screen. Screen will go black and music will continue. No sound prompts after that though.

If left in attract mode it will play one time completely though and freeze at the high ranking picture.

Screen will flicker during the driving scenes, but stop on the non driving screens.

RAM check is ok
DIMM check is ok

Voltage is 13.3, 5.1, 3.4

Mine would freeze also like this but a little earlier. I had to change the bios chip to a different version bios. Or put a multi bios chip in and see if it fixes the problem

I sent both to Ken at irepairsega, hopefully he can identify the issue. I do remember the Letter on the chip was appropriate for ID, but I could be mistaken.
