Trace the one from that little board to the computer com portI see... It would be quiet difficult to trace the wires since the run though all the cab from the extreme back under the seat till the back of the monitorbut I will try!!

Hi guys, just wanted to share this so that can may be helpful to others with the same issue. Turned out my initial supposition was right and the problem was related to the small I/O board connected to the ringedge mobo. Once replaced with a working one, the force feedback started working again
