I have the Retro Scaler A-1 from Irkin Labs.

If your not aware what this is. Its an analog scaler that scales your 240P JAMMA into a VGA supported Arcade monitor or PC CRT monitor.

It's preferred over modern scalers because it retains its analog signal and requires no DAC that can lead a lot of problems such as black crush.

$150 $135 shipped anywhere in the continental US.

Comes with USB power cord, and 6' VGA cable and of course the unit itself

You can also use these for SCART RGB consoles with a sync stripper in-between board!

I don't like the brightness settings of the scanlines personally, but the picture is REALLY great. Clearer and cleaner than my XRGB2+ on a PC CRT.

This is a great price if anyone has need of a VGA retrogame line doubler.

Could it work with a PS2 to line double 480i video?
Yes it does and I've done this line doubled to a VGA monitor + capture device, but it's no miracle product. The source in this case is still 480i unfortunately and it won't make that any better looking. For that, there are better scaling options which are more specifically designed to deal with interlaced video.

240p line doubled? This looks fantastic with everything I've tried, arcade and console sources alike.

Great little device in any case.
