Is the Betson 27" monitor a suitable replacement for a Blast City monitor?

I have a 100% working 27" Multisync monitor that I used in my MAME cabinet for years. Gorgeous picture.

My question is: Should I keep it as a backup for my Blast City and/or Astro City Cabinet? Will it fit?

If It's the Wei Ya trisync variant from Betson, that they carried for years...yes it can work in a Blast.

You may have to fuck with the mounting of the tube to the frame (ie reverse mount), if the monitor sits too proud to let the bezel mount properly, and you'll have gaps between the flat screen and the bezel for sure....but it can function.

Better bet would be having another 2930/31 monitor that works and is ready to go....but at the very least, another 2930/31 chassis depending on what chassis is in your cab.
