As title.
I did have one but can't get it back from the person who has it. Maybe they sold it? Who knows because I've not seen it since it went into repair in November 2023.

That means the person is a reputable person if you dont want to name it somehow to not ruin his reputation ?

Exactly this. There is a deadline in place now and if a satisfactory outcome isn't achieved then appropriate feedback will be left.
The really sad thing is that there is a lot more to this than an expensive pcb as I consider this person a friend too. Also they have a lot more to lose in this than me which is the weird thing.
Excuses go so far. Rep is everything IMO
It's this kind of thing that makes me want to fuck it all off and sell up after 12 years collecting. That would take many years though lol!

Over a year and a half is a LONG Time! I don't think I'd have the patience to wait that long before posting any kind of feedback and I consider myself a pretty patient person too. Its not like feedback can't be updated and reversed once things get resolved. Then again I don't know the details... hopefully your able to figure things out
 
Sometimes repairing pcbs can months even years whilst sometimes it can be done in minutes. Still if you ask for it back, i don't see why they shouldn't send it back no matter what the circumstances are. Dont forget to appreciate the fact that they tried to repair it. What was wrong with it anyway? The rom pcb shouldnt take very long to diagnose anyway, its the motherboard that can get a bit tricky. If you can confirm the rom pcb working, all you need is a compatible mobo to play it.

Dont forget jaleco system 1 pcbs have a security PLD device that is needed for any gane to boot. Think they have been dumped but not released publicly. Annoyingly there are different variation of motherboards too.

I take my hat off to you. I played it for 5 minutes and thought it was too brutal for my skills. Shelved it ever since.

Thanks. Yeah, there's more too it than just a board but this kind of shit erodes my trust in people. I've had enough of that already in my life.

Once the feedback is out there then it's out there whether it's edited or not. They have a chance to resolve this before that happens.

Am not giving out details as then it'll be pretty easy to work out who this person is as it's a small community.

I've just asked for the board back numerous times and originally there was a decent reason and that is why it's taking so long, but now it's just excuses IMO.

The board is either repaired and sold off or this person truly can't / won't find it but I'm sick of it now. It is fucking grating like finger nails on a chalk board.

It's not complicated as either they find and return the board or pay what it's worth.

Stay tuned as next week is the deadline.

Don't need to delete my post, I don't mind being called out, because it's always wrong / a misunderstanding.
He seems to think i have stolen his jank.

Let me back myself at least? , anyway pics are there, he will collect them wednesday and this will be done and dusted.

AFAIK being accused of a being a thief is not something that should be taken lightly.

Err, nope , don't need the money , don't need the game (i can print unlimited jaleco's , got 100's of my own PCB's i can't be arsed selling.
 
We don't like or want drama. When you solve the issue, post it here and let's move on.
