I need one for an event next month and they're always out of stock. I'll give it a good home forever and it'll get tons of use!

If you know of another JAMMA video out device or way to get Midway boards (NBA Jam, MKII, etc) to display on an OSSC, feel free let me know.

I have a super old Jamma- Ntsc converter passthrough board that doesn't work with my XRGBs or OSSCs. Thx

Oh I don't really stream. I've used this starfire one for a project: StarTech.com HDMI Video Capture Device - 1080p - 60fps Capture Card - USB Video Recorder - with HDMI DVI VGA (USB3HDCAP) Black https://a.co/d/c9wt5rh

But mainly I just want to live output video my machines for spectators. I use videogames and VR for entertainment at private events and festivals and stuff.

I have an old old MAS Jamma->NTSC/RGB passthrough board that doesn't seem to work with my Midway boards. I ve used an XRGB2+ and an OSSC with it to output to projectors and it doesn't work with either through composite or Svideo (rgb part is unpopulated, wired it up but never got it working).

I know Midways have a weird refresh rate, and Splitfires work outputting to OSSC for Midways, from reading up on my problem.

If you have any suggestions for me, I'd love to hear them! Thanks!

Get a GBS-C and a fingerboard to pull the RGBS to it (or make one yourself). Should cost under $100.

EDIT: you will also need to buy a line-level converter for audio or make one yourself... I still think this can all be done for under $100. May not be as good or easy as a Splitfire, but if you need a workable method, well... good luck!

Ya, it's the GBS-8200/8220 using an open source firmware:

I guess it more commonly comes up if you search Control, rather than just "C"... my bad!

You can use one of those (highly recommend using the FOSS firmware versus the stock one, which is very not great), along with a JAMMA fingerboard to pull the video signal. Something like this (not vouching for either of these, just some of the first things that came up:

For audio:

If you're handy with an iron, just buy this, the line level adapter, and do the Control mod yourself:

Good luck!

OK, that sounds doable! Thank you so much for the explanation! That seems like a great solution. Someone selling it with the fingerboard is perfect.

I just picked one up. Really appreciate the help, all!

Hey also, what's the best place to buy a jamma fingerboard W the connector head already attached to it? I have a few small projects that could be helpful for and I didn't see any on his ebay site. Thx!
